Spring Drive models mark the smooth passing of time with their lack of tick, emulating the natural progression of one moment into the next. 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the 9R Spring Drive Movement.

This model’s deep red dial is inspired by the summer’s morning glow of sunrise over the Hotaka mountain peaks near to Japan’s Shinshu Watch Studio, while the black ceramic bezel recalls the steep rock faces seen on the mountains.

INSPIRED BY SUNRISE OVER THE HOTAKA MOUNTAINS

Inspired by sunrise over the Hotaka mountains, the deep red dial features silver-toned hands coated in Lumibrite while the hands and indices are coated in LumiBrite and enclosed in a dual-curved sapphire crystal. A GMT function enables the tracking of two time zones simultaneously, while a power reserve indicator reveals the remaining charge in the battery.

Power and precision are delivered by the mechanical in-house Calibre 9R66 Spring Drive calibre with a power reserve of 72 hours and the ability to measure two time zones simultaneously.

Housed within a 40.5mm stainless steel case, this watch fastens with a stainless steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp and push button release for comfort and elegance on the wrist.
